How Do I Clean My Couch Cushions? (Hint: It Involves a Vacuum Cleaner)

Have you ever asked yourself, “how do I clean my couch cushions?”, and not had an immediate answer. That’s OK, and it’s more common than you think. We use our couch more than almost any other furniture piece in our homes, but may not always realize just how dirty they get. Couch cushions tend to accumulate a lot of dirt and dust you can’t even see. Dirt and dust can contain harmful microbes, which is why it’s important to clean your couch cushions often! This is especially the case when you have pets at home.

Have You Ever Tried a Vacuum to Clean Your Couch?

It may sound funny if you’ve never tried it before, but cleaning a couch with a vacuum is actually one of the most efficient ways to do it, and leaves it the cleanest. A good vacuum can not only suck up dirt and dust, but also harmful microbes and other allergens. While regular vacuums will get the job done, using a water vacuum to clean your couch gives you an added level of protection from these harmful contaminants.

Getting underneath the immediately visible surface is crucial to true cleaning when it comes to a couch. Too often we just brush over our couches or remove stains and other dirt we can see. If we neglect to deep clean our couches for long enough, dirt, dust, and other allergens can build up. Vacuuming your couch on a regular basis will help reduce the amount of these harmful substances in your home and keep you and your family healthy. The right vacuum accessories can help you reach those deep crevices with ease.

How Do I Clean My Couch Cushions the Most Effectively?

If you’re looking for an even deeper clean than what a vacuum cleaner alone can provide, consider purchasing a Sirena water vacuum. Our vacuum cleaners are designed with a precision nozzle, so you don’t have to worry about how difficult it might be to get into those hard-to-reach places in the back of the sofa or under other furniture. Consider the Turbo Pet Hair Brush to stand up to the shedding of your furry friends.

A Sirena water vacuum has been proven to be effective, efficient, and easy to maintain. This gives it long-term value over time that simply isn’t available elsewhere on the market. To start cleaning your couch with a Sirena water vacuum, take the cushions off to individually clean each one. Make sure to clean underneath and behind those cushions where pet hair, dust mites, and allergens like to hang out.

Awesome!

So thrilled to get my new Sirena vacuum. Years ago my mother had a rexair which was the same water principal. I've wanted one ever since. Now I have it! Have used it twice so far with excellent results. I feel I can breathe better plus the suction is terrific for getting up pet hair and such. I am an avid quilter so this vacuum gets all those little threads and lint balls that fly everywhere. Love it!

The Best Vacuum for a whole new meaning to clean

I purchased the sirena vacuum a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. The air seems cleaner after vacuuming. So I just purchased the sirena cordless vacuum. This is why sirena only got 4 stars. My one and only problem with the cordless vacuum is that it is a little bit short. Maybe just me but it feels like it should be longer. But awesome job sirena!! You out did filter queen and I did not think that was possible. Thank you Sirena!!

Very Good Machine

Been using an upright for years that has HEPA filters. The filters have to be cleaned regularly and dust still seeps through and escapes back into the air. Wife has very sensitive nose and would leave the room
when I was vacuuming. The Sirena doesn’t allow any dust to escape and my wife is much happier now. The Sirena does require more storage space and set up time to get started vacuuming but works very well for cleaning.

Happy customer

My old Rainbow vac died on me after 30 + years of service. I was searching for something similar and found the Sirena. It was delievered very quickly after ordering on line. It was just what I wanted, similar to my old friend but better In Several ways. The price compared to another brand was great and the pick up is far better. I’m a happy customer.
