the Right Water Vacuum Cleaner

Choosing the Right Water Vacuum Cleaner for Your Home

Vacuums today come in a range of styles, shapes, designs, and even colors, making it hard to know which one is right for your home. The key is to find the right water vacuum cleaner that not only has fun and interesting features, but one that fits your home’s cleaning needs. In fact, the right water vacuum cleaner will combine form and function as well as convenience.

Check The Features

Features are often the key selling point for almost any product we buy and that is no different when it comes to water vacuum cleaners. The Sirena Vacuum uses water instead of bags which traps the dirt, dust, and other allergens. Once filtered, the air is water-washed and vented back into the home cleanly.

The key thing to note is that the vacuum cleans your carpet and floors and also cleans the air in your home. It traps 99.99% of all contaminants. This is one of the features that you should consider when purchasing a vacuum: air filtration.

A water vacuum cleaner does not have a bag so disposing of the dirty water is easy. You can either dump the water in your yard or down the toilet or you can drain the water as well.

Let Others Try Before You Buy

You want to be sure that the vacuum you’re considering fits your unique needs. It is a good idea to carefully read through product reviews prior to purchase. You may not be able to bring it home and try it first, but you can check out real reviews from other buyers to know exactly what to expect.

Look at The Vacuum’s Suction Power

The main component of any vacuum is suction power. One vacuum may have less suction power than what you need, and this can leave you disappointed. You will need to consider the surfaces you will be using the vacuum on and the size of your home. On the other hand, you may get a vacuum that has too much suction power for your needs. You may end up lifting the carpet from the amount of power. This can also make it harder to push the vacuum back and forth.

What is The Size of The Hose?

Hoses are an important extension of any good vacuum. They are typically used for smaller messes and furniture. The diameter of the hose is used to figure out the amount of debris or dust that the vacuum will be able to pick up and how fast it will be able to do so.

The length of the hose will determine how much you can clean at once. The longer the hose the easier it will be to reach certain areas.

Oh My Sirena!

I’ve never used a canister vacuum so that is taking a little getting used to. It’s kind of funny; my husband pointed out I don’t call it the vacuum or a sweeper. I call it “my Sirena”. It works great, I was surprised how much pet hair it picked up my first use. The deodorizer and essential oils I will definitely order more of when these run out. My old vacuum seems like a toy in comparison of how much more effective my Sirena is. It’s only been a couple of weeks but as of right now I am very happy with this purchase. Will write another review in December when I’ve had it a while. The extra hose and attachments I haven’t really figured out a good way to store it for accessibility and convenience. Any suggestions?

Best vacuum I've encountered in 16 years

Sixteen years ago I bought an Ocean Blue water filtered vacuum. It was by far the best vacuum I had ever owned, but it's wearing out now and they quit making them. I just got a new Sirena and it has all the features of the Ocean Blue plus a few improvements. If you know anything about water filtration vacs, I don't need to tell you how good they are. This one is the best I've encountered in a long time.
