Add an extra cleaning day to your schedule

When you do the math, you spend more time inside during the winter than in any other season. As a result, you are putting more wear and tear on your air and surfaces than usual. Even if you’re not constantly going in and out. The danger of constantly recycling stale or contaminated air can be long-term illness or more acute consequences. Put your health and your family’s health first. You can do that by making sure that the air you’re breathing all winter is as pure as possible. In addition to being home for longer, you will also have a more limited air supply. That is because outdoor air is strictly blocked to keep the inside air warm.

Get a vacuum that can handle wet messes

Whether it is mud or snow being tracked in and out, or hot chocolate getting spilled on the rug, there are more opportunities than ever to damage your home’s surfaces during the winter. That’s why it is wise to have an extra day for the increased demand. You may not notice how stale and contaminated the air and surfaces in your home become when you’re there all day. And with family and other guests constantly circulating in and out, be prepared for the possibility of surface messes that were not included in the brochure.

Get a vacuum that can humidify the air

A vacuum with humidifying capabilities is valuable for many reasons during the winter. Keep the air’s moisture levels steady and help house members breathe easily through the night. Central and space heaters can dry out the air. By using a water vacuum, the air is suctioned through the water filter and released with a higher humidity content. This effortlessly increases moisture in the dry winter air.

Spice up holiday gatherings with special scents

A water vacuum that can handle wet messes such as mud and snow being tracked in can also humidify the dry winter air for comfort and aromatize it with holiday scents is the true MVP of your cleaning team. Add a few drops of our pine fragrance into the water basin and instantly feel merry and bright!

Oh My Sirena!

I’ve never used a canister vacuum so that is taking a little getting used to. It’s kind of funny; my husband pointed out I don’t call it the vacuum or a sweeper. I call it “my Sirena”. It works great, I was surprised how much pet hair it picked up my first use. The deodorizer and essential oils I will definitely order more of when these run out. My old vacuum seems like a toy in comparison of how much more effective my Sirena is. It’s only been a couple of weeks but as of right now I am very happy with this purchase. Will write another review in December when I’ve had it a while. The extra hose and attachments I haven’t really figured out a good way to store it for accessibility and convenience. Any suggestions?

Best vacuum I've encountered in 16 years

Sixteen years ago I bought an Ocean Blue water filtered vacuum. It was by far the best vacuum I had ever owned, but it's wearing out now and they quit making them. I just got a new Sirena and it has all the features of the Ocean Blue plus a few improvements. If you know anything about water filtration vacs, I don't need to tell you how good they are. This one is the best I've encountered in a long time.
