Things You Should Never Clean Using a Water Vacuum Cleaner

You might think that your water vacuum cleaner is invincible and nothing could possibly go wrong. However, there are a few things that you should never clean using a water vacuum cleaner

Water Vacuum Cleaner

Large Pieces of Glass – Not Suitable for the Water Vacuum Cleaner

For bagged vacuum cleaners, glass can break or tear the bag causing a complete malfunction and costly repairs. In other cases, the glass can get stuck in the hose or even scratch up the interior of the vacuum cleaner. Some of these are irreparable.

When it comes to using a water-based vacuum cleaner there is no risk of bag perforation, so you can easily clean up small bits of broken glass. However, for large pieces of broken glass, it is best to use a broom.

Cosmetics

Sometimes makeup falls on the floor and causes a big mess. Your first instinct may be to run and grab your vacuum. Do not do this. The makeup can smear and end up all over your home. Your carpets, furniture and anything else you use your vacuum for will all be ruined. This means you will have to pay for an expensive cleaning service or will have to purchase all new carpets for your home.

Plants

You may have plants around your home. Leaves and flower petals are delicate, and the powerful suction of a water vacuum can potentially damage them. Soil spills can be handled with a water vacuum within reason, as the dirt will get trapped in the water just like other dust and particles.

Coins

Coins, especially pennies, are notorious for getting into vacuum cleaners and causing mayhem in the machine. Take a look at your floor before vacuuming to ensure that there are no coins or small toys. Coins and small toys can break into pieces or ruin the vacuum motor. In some cases, both can combine to damage your vacuum cleaner over time.

Shredded Paper

Shredded paper is something that can be cleaned with a water vacuum, unless we’re talking about hundreds of shredded pages. That quantity can mess up the motor. For large amounts of shredded paper, a broom and a dustpan are the best tools to use.

Sirene Vacuum Review

It seems to be a good vacuum cleaner very similar to our old Rainbow, but for considerbly less money.

This is my second one

I bought one years ago and loved it. After about 10 years the buttons stopped working but mind you my kids were pretty rough with it. But decided to get a robot vacuum for my next one and was so upset. It was terrible. So now went back to this one. Will never bug another vacuume again. In the 10 years I had my old one it always vacuumed as the same as the day I got it. It never lost suction.

Fantastic- worth the cost

Works great- best vacuum I’ve ever had. Really helps with the allergies especially when cleaning. Doesn’t kick up the dust like most vacuums.

A Game-Changer in Cleaning!

I’ve had my fair share of vacuums over the years, but this one truly stands out. It’s by far the best vacuum I’ve owned in a long time.
