Make Sure You Have These 4 Vacuum Accessories For Carpet Cleaning

Investing in a good carpet means taking care of it for life. That means investing in a good carpet vacuum cleaner that can meet all your cleaning needs for years to come. Soft surfaces on the ground accumulate so much dirt and dust from indoors and outdoors when we carry it in and out on our clothes, shoes, and skin. When you add kids, pets, and guests to the equation, it takes real discipline to protect and preserve your carpets and rugs. This blog will make sure you know the four vacuum accessories for carpet cleaning. They will keep you prepared for any mess life can throw at you.

1. Air Freshener Or Deodorizer

Even when you clean the floors and surfaces of your home, there is still pollution that is floating around your airspace. To keep your airflow clean for asthma and allergy sufferers, invest in a natural deodorization system that keeps the air in your home pleasant and detoxified.

2. Attachments For Tricky Angles and Surfaces

Everything from wet and dry hoses and attachments, to extended reach and soft nozzle heads for sensitive and hard-to-reach spaces, can become necessary for the variety of messes that lie ahead. Stay prepared by positioning yourself for success with every possible tool. Some brands have deals that maximize your odds by including these attachments in the base price. Or, as an additional accessory that you can order.

3. Multiple Cleaning Modes

This feature is not an accessory. But, if you buy the right vacuum, it will save you from having to spend a fortune on supplies and accessories for wet messes. Conventional vacuums are only designed to handle dry messes. Water, wine, and any other liquid could permanently damage any conventional vacuum or create the risk of fire or electrocution. But water vacuum cleaners use the natural power of water filtration to absorb both wet and dry messes.

4. Water!

The amazing thing about modern vacuum cleaners is that you don’t have to use unnatural chemicals to get the job done. Water-powered vacuums can use a combination of water and NASA-approved HEPA filter technology. They use it as a backup mechanism to remove impurities with great success. The best part? Since you are dumping the dirty water after each use, you will never have to store dirty bags and filters in your closet again!

Oh My Sirena!

I’ve never used a canister vacuum so that is taking a little getting used to. It’s kind of funny; my husband pointed out I don’t call it the vacuum or a sweeper. I call it “my Sirena”. It works great, I was surprised how much pet hair it picked up my first use. The deodorizer and essential oils I will definitely order more of when these run out. My old vacuum seems like a toy in comparison of how much more effective my Sirena is. It’s only been a couple of weeks but as of right now I am very happy with this purchase. Will write another review in December when I’ve had it a while. The extra hose and attachments I haven’t really figured out a good way to store it for accessibility and convenience. Any suggestions?

Best vacuum I've encountered in 16 years

Sixteen years ago I bought an Ocean Blue water filtered vacuum. It was by far the best vacuum I had ever owned, but it's wearing out now and they quit making them. I just got a new Sirena and it has all the features of the Ocean Blue plus a few improvements. If you know anything about water filtration vacs, I don't need to tell you how good they are. This one is the best I've encountered in a long time.
