Breathing Issues After COVID-19? How to Ready Your Home for Recovery

Recovering from COVID is an uphill battle. If you are on the road to recovery, you will want to look into a vacuum for breathing issues to avoid further complications. Factors like air quality can make a noticeable difference in overall lung health. COVID has been shown to cause long-term breathing issues for patients who previously had none, regardless of age. If you or a loved one is recovering from the symptoms of COVID-19, this blog will give our top tips to get your home’s air quality as clean as possible.

Why is Air Quality Important for COVID?

The COVID-19 virus is shown to affect the lungs and airways in your body. Air with a high percentage of impurities such as mold, dust, dirt, and other allergens makes it harder for your lungs to function. Over time, this difficulty breathing has been reported to cause additional complications for your other organs.

The CDC recommends taking measures to improve air supply in your home. They advise that “good ventilation, along with other preventive actions, like staying 6 feet apart and wearing masks, can help prevent you from getting and spreading COVID-19.”

How to Avoid Future Issues As You Recover

As you recover from COVID it is important to have a plan. Your living conditions may have to change to keep you and your housemates as safe as possible. Here are three key tips to keep in mind:

  1. Create a Regular Cleaning Routine and Get Help If Needed

No matter how much you used to clean, give your home a deep cleaning before returning. Any dirt or dust on your surfaces can recirculate into the air and irritate your already compromised lungs.

  1. Get a Vacuum That Can Humidify the Air

You have enough to worry about focusing on recovery. The Sirena water vacuum naturally humidifies the air as it cleans, allowing you to check two boxes at once. Well-humidified air is soothing to irritated lungs and may help you breathe easier as you rest and heal. The effect will help moisturize your breathing airways and lungs, allowing for some relief.

  1. Get an Air Purification System for Your Home

Another great feature of the Sirena water vacuum is its air purification abilities. The impact of cleaner air on your overall health will be incredible. Dust and dirt may not be a huge threat to your lungs when your at full strength, but as you recover, you want to give your body every advantage in the fight against this awful virus.

The Sirena Twister is also a great option to purify the air in your home with the natural cleaning power of water. It can be especially soothing when you add a capful of the eucalyptus fragrance to open up your sinuses.

Really like it!!!

My recertified Sirena arrived safe and sound and was really easy to set up. It works GREAT and the water when I vacuumed my house was disgusting. I also have a Quantum X upright water vac but it was inconvenient to use the attachments. Love love love the water vacs so much!!! Thank you Sirena. I am pleased with my purchase!

Best vacuum

I love everything about this vacuum. It is by far the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. 100% worth the money to spend and it is very comparable if not exact to a rainbow vacuum. You can clean everything with all the attachments it comes with. I highly recommend this vacuum.

W o r k s ! River of AIR

had a rex-air rainbow several years (decades), it's in trash now...can see how this design is an upgrade of sorts (by far) for water vacuuming / just remind all to keep it clean yourself after each use and clean the bottom and tank out.....

Sirene Vacuum Review

It seems to be a good vacuum cleaner very similar to our old Rainbow, but for considerbly less money.

This is my second one

I bought one years ago and loved it. After about 10 years the buttons stopped working but mind you my kids were pretty rough with it. But decided to get a robot vacuum for my next one and was so upset. It was terrible. So now went back to this one. Will never bug another vacuume again. In the 10 years I had my old one it always vacuumed as the same as the day I got it. It never lost suction.
