The Usefulness of a Pressure Cooker

Cooking is no easy task. It takes a lot of time and a lot of sweat to get it right. But one tool that many home and pro chefs are overlooking is a pressure cooker, or rapid pot. These devices make it easy to set, leave and come back to a perfectly cooked dish. There’s also less chance for error since you are programming a machine to do the hard work. If you haven’t used a rapid pot before, this blog will list some of the top uses for a pressure cooker.

Save Time, Energy, And Money

A rapid pot will change your life as a chef. You will definitely have more time and energy than you ever thought. That’s expected since rapid pots do most of the work for you as long as you set them right. But you may be surprised by how much money a pressure cooker will save you over a year of cooking meals with less time, energy, and less chance for error.

Healthier Nutrition

An often-overlooked feature of a rapid pot is that it will cook your food in a healthier way than friers, grills, and other surfaces. Research shows that pressure cooked food holds more nutritional value than boiled or steamed foods, which most consider the healthiest options. Since cooking time is shorter, a pressure cooker will trap the nutrients from escaping via steam.

More Flavorful

Rapid pot pressure cooking has been shown to promote caramelization and browning of your food. The added flavor will pool into a tasty broth or juice that would be lost to the steam if you chose to boil or steam your food instead. Your meat will fall off the bone and taste juicier than you’ve ever experienced. And, that all takes less time and much less effort.

No More Heat

The heat of a kitchen will have you sweating while others cover their ears and noses to protect themselves from sensitivity. But with a rapid pot, you will be protected from the smells and sounds of a busy kitchen. Sit back, relax, and keep it cool while your meals cook rapidly on automated settings.

No Need to Thaw Frozen Meat

It’s a real drag to come and realize you don’t have any thawed meat ready for dinner. Stop settling for microwave meals or takeout when you can simply call on your rapid pot.

Fast, healthy, and stress free meals are right at your fingertips when you put a pressure cooker to use and stop putting all of the pressure on your shoulders.

Oh My Sirena!

I’ve never used a canister vacuum so that is taking a little getting used to. It’s kind of funny; my husband pointed out I don’t call it the vacuum or a sweeper. I call it “my Sirena”. It works great, I was surprised how much pet hair it picked up my first use. The deodorizer and essential oils I will definitely order more of when these run out. My old vacuum seems like a toy in comparison of how much more effective my Sirena is. It’s only been a couple of weeks but as of right now I am very happy with this purchase. Will write another review in December when I’ve had it a while. The extra hose and attachments I haven’t really figured out a good way to store it for accessibility and convenience. Any suggestions?

Best vacuum I've encountered in 16 years

Sixteen years ago I bought an Ocean Blue water filtered vacuum. It was by far the best vacuum I had ever owned, but it's wearing out now and they quit making them. I just got a new Sirena and it has all the features of the Ocean Blue plus a few improvements. If you know anything about water filtration vacs, I don't need to tell you how good they are. This one is the best I've encountered in a long time.
