I have been using a HEPA vacuum for years and it constantly loses suction, and I'm always swapping out filters, cleaning them, and STILL missing stuff in the rug. I never realized how much I was missing until I vacuumed with my old vacuum and then with my new Sirena. When I finished with just one rug, I had a muddy water tank AND a handful of cat hair that I had missed. After I finished cleaning the rug, the house didn't smell like I had just vacuumed and there was no dust flying about. I think this is magic.
Sirena Vacuum Cleaner (Recertified)
I recently purchased this vacuum after my friend’s recommendation. So far I am really happy with this purchase. It deeply cleans the carpets and makes it look fresh. I recommend this product.
If you're like me and stumbled across Sirena in search of an alternative to Rainbow, then I'm here to tell you that I love the Sirena vacuum. I have long known about Rainbow vacuums. My mother used to sell them back in the 80s and our family owned Rainbow vacuums for years as a result. And I have to give Rainbow its credit, it is indeed an excellent vacuum. However, perhaps not so excellent as to justify the price...in comes Sirena.
I was admittedly skeptic at first because Sirena is the only direct competitor to Rainbow that I know of. I'm not sure why, but water filtered vacuums just aren't commonplace, and trust me, I have spent years in search of an alternative to Rainbow that isn't the price of a used car. So when our last vacuum kicked the bucket, I when on the search again.
I already knew from my experience with Rainbow that water filtered vacuums were the way to go. They are in a league of their own when it comes to cleaning capabilities, but as I said before, I've never been successful in finding a cheaper (or any) alternative to Rainbow.
Well I am excited to say that I finally found it in Sirena and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It came at an excellent time, too. Our last vacuum just finally burned out, and I have family that recently bought Rainbow's newest model in 2020. We actually even borrowed it from them while our own vacuum was out of commission, so I can tell you from recent first hand experience, Sirena keeps up with Rainbow just fine, and I personally think Sirena is even better.
My household is a pet loving household with 3 dogs and 4 cats all living indoors. I also suffer from chronic allergies, go figure. When we borrowed that Rainbow, the first thing I noticed was the lack of an equivalent to Sirena's Power Nozzle. The older Rainbow models that my family had as a kid did have this attachment, but for some reason this new model did not (and let me tell ya, even without the attachment, Rainbow didn't knock many extra dollars off the price point for their system either, if any).
Second thing I notices was performance between the two. While I didn't really notice much difference, I also didn't use the Rainbow much myself. It was mostly my wife. I couldn't tell a huge difference in performance between the two or the suction, however my wife states a pretty significant difference in Sirena's favor. She felt that the Sirena vacuum was much more effective at sucking up stubborn pet hair that was stuck in the carpet and various places.
Then last but certainly not least, the price difference. I mean, come on. Sirena is many times cheaper than Rainbow no matter how you look at it. So much cheaper that it honestly made me even more skeptic when researching. I was worried Sirena was going to be a cheap hunk of plastic that would burn out in a year at that price. But then comes the warranty. Sirena guarantees a 10 year warranty. Anything that goes wrong with your Sirena vacuum, they got you covered. Now, a quick search will show you that Rainbow also has a 10 year warranty for their vacuum motor, which is awesome, and I could argue semantics all day about what is and isn't covered in each warranty. But, it shows both companies believe in their products and are willing to back up their claims which is important for any product. So, in the scenario where warranties are arguably identical, which would you rather go with? The one that costs thousands of dollars or the one that costs a fraction of that? I know which one I went with, and both I and the wife are much happier for it.
Bought for wife and loves it. Picks up better than our Kirby.
